After raising french bulldogs for over 16 years we have narrowed down a list of essential items that will make both your life and your new puppy’s life more comfortable. You could pick up these items at your local pet store but I find it a lot easier to just buy it all from amazon and have it delivered right to my door within 2 day. I have also noticed that I was able to save 25-50% of some of the items by buying them through Amazon.

1.) Royal Canin Small Breed Puppy Food.

This is our food of choice for our puppies. We have tried all the trendy grain free food and with the recent recalls and news of grain free food linked to heart disease we have decided to stick with what works. Our Adults are feed Royal Canin French Bulldog Adult Formula. It is formulated just for French Bulldogs.

We recommend not switching foods abruptly as it can cause an upset stomach and diarrhea.

2.) Airtight Food Storage Container.

I normally like to buy the 13lb bags of dog as it is more affordable and I don’t have to worry about the food being out of stock as often. A proper air tight container will help you keep you dog food fresh.
